TRANSPARENT AND EASY TO PLAN
High-quality dental treatment should be transparent and easy for you to budget for. That is why, before treatment begins, we provide you with clear information about any potential out-of-pocket costs and, if required, draw up a treatment and cost plan.
Various payment methods are available for settling your bill. For more extensive treatment, you can also take advantage of various options for paying in instalments.
Before any treatment that incurs a charge, you will be provided with clear information about the expected costs and any co-payments you may have to make.
You can pay conveniently by card or contactless. Various instalment payment options are also available for eligible bills.
If you have any questions about your treatment and cost plan, your treatment or individual items on your bill, we will be happy to help.
COST TRANSPARENCY
The cost of dental treatment depends on your individual diagnosis, the chosen treatment and the scope of cover provided by your health insurance. For this reason, it is usually only possible to provide a definitive cost estimate following an examination and careful treatment planning.
If you are required to pay any out-of-pocket costs or co-payments, we will inform you of this before treatment begins. For more extensive treatment, you will receive a treatment and cost plan. You can submit this in advance to your statutory or private health insurance provider, your supplementary dental insurance provider or your allowance office.
Together, we will discuss the possible treatment options so that you can understand the medical and financial differences and make a well-informed decision.
PAYMENT METHODS
At our dental practice in Dresden-Prohlis, you can pay conveniently using standard debit and credit cards. We accept Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.
We also accept contactless payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you wish, we can send your payment receipt by email instead of providing a paper copy.

HEALTH INSURANCE AND REIMBURSEMENT
The costs covered by statutory health insurance, private health insurance, supplementary dental insurance or the relevant benefits office depend on the specific policy and the planned treatment.
For more extensive treatments, we recommend that you submit the treatment and cost plan to the relevant insurer before treatment begins. This will allow you to clarify at an early stage what reimbursement you can expect and what co-payment you will be required to make.
Please note that the final decision on reimbursement rests solely with your insurance provider or subsidy office. Prior information does not in all cases constitute a binding commitment to cover costs. We will be happy to provide you with the necessary treatment and cost documentation. If you have any queries regarding an invoice issued by the DZR, you can also use the DZR’s reimbursement service.
Before any treatment that involves a charge, we will inform you of the estimated amount you will need to pay. For more extensive treatment, you will receive a treatment and cost plan setting out the planned services and the estimated costs.

This depends on the planned treatment, your type of insurance and your individual policy. Statutory health insurance schemes cover medically necessary treatment in accordance with the applicable regulations. You may be required to pay a co-payment for additional or higher-quality treatment. Private health and supplementary dental insurance policies reimburse costs in accordance with the agreed policy terms. You can submit a treatment and cost plan for review before treatment begins.
If your invoice was issued by the DZR, please contact the DZR as soon as possible. Depending on the invoice, it may be possible to arrange a partial payment or an extension of the payment deadline. If possible, do not wait until the payment deadline has passed.

We’ll explain the planned treatment, possible alternatives and the associated costs to you in a clear and personalised manner. Please feel free to ask us about this when you book your appointment.
If you have any questions about an invoice already issued by the DZR, please contact the person named on the invoice.
