We collect personal data from you when, for example, you contact us by email or telephone to arrange a treatment appointment.

We process the following personal data:

• Personal details (e.g. first name and surname, address, date and place of birth, email address, telephone number, insurance status);
• Data relating to your online behaviour and preferences (e.g. IP addresses, unique identifiers of mobile devices, data regarding your visits to our website, devices used to access our website). We only collect information about children if they are brought to our practice as patients by their legal guardians.

Where individual functions of our website rely on contracted service providers, we provide detailed information on the relevant processes in section 4 of this privacy policy. We also specify the criteria governing the retention period.

Nelly

In addition, the data you provide during patient registration is transferred to Nelly Solutions GmbH (“Nelly”). We use Nelly as a service provider for digital signatures, data management and archiving systems, and for the billing of self-pay services. We have entered into a contract with Nelly for commissioned data processing in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR, under which Nelly processes data only in accordance with our instructions. What is the purpose of your data and on what legal basis are we permitted to use it?

If you use our website solely to find out about our practice, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR):

In addition to this data, cookies are also stored on your computer when you use our website. If you wish to book a treatment appointment or ask us a question via email or our contact form, we will store the data you provide (your email address, and, where applicable, your name and telephone number) so that we can arrange a treatment appointment for you or respond to your enquiry. We will delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or restrict its processing where statutory retention obligations apply (the legal basis is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (b) of the GDPR).
